Doug Davis has been a volunteer with HFM for almost seven years; primarily in organizing and actively building wheelchair ramps and doing home repairs. He has served on the BOD for almost 3 years and is in his second year as Chair. He has attended Beach United Methodist Church since moving to the Jacksonville area in 1996. Doug spent 26 years as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, working in four field offices around the country, was assigned to the protective detail of President Gerald R. Ford, and to Secret Service headquarters. He retired in Jacksonville in 2001 and subsequently worked for two other Homeland Security agencies. Doug spends his time volunteering, traveling, and following college sports. He has two grown children who also live in the Jacksonville area.
