Ways to Help
Helping 500 seniors annually is a team effort. Hart Felt is incredibly blessed to have a network of 200 volunteers and an incredible collation of individuals, churches, organizations and companies who donate their time, talent and money to fulfill our mission.
How Can You Help?
Our volunteers are the “heart” of the organization. One person makes a huge difference in the life of a senior in need. We can find the perfect position to match your talents and interests. Learn more here!
Pray for our Clients
We believe in the power of prayer and see God moving every day. Please add Hart Felt Ministries and our clients to your prayer list.
Get Your Church Involved
Become a member of our Church Coalition, Host a Senior Sunday, Host a Hart Felt Speaker, Include Hart Felt at a Ministry Fair, Organize a Bake Sale or Car Wash (This is a great way for youth groups to help!), or Adopt a Senior (Great for Small Groups!).
When you donate to Hart Felt, you are carrying out our mission to help seniors age in place. And as stewards of your donation, we strive to make every dollar go as far as possible. We do this by training a network of volunteers to carry out services, for example, by keeping operating expenses low, and by working with a coalition of partners that provide donated or discounted labor and materials.
There are several options for donating, whether you want to make a one-time donation, invest in monthly giving, support the Hart Fund, help build a wheelchair ramp, or support the Hart Felt Charity Gala. Donate – or learn more here!
Shop with a purpose when you start at smile.amazon.com and select Hart Felt Ministries as your designated charity. You’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate .5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. You use the same account on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile which means your Shopping Cart, Wish List, Wedding or Baby Registry, and other account settings are also the same.
Organize a Fundraiser
Interested in helping but can’t commit to scheduled visits? Host a fundraiser on Hart Felt’s behalf. It could be a bake sale, a car wash, or rummage sale. Opening a new business? Host a grand opening and make Hart Felt the beneficiary. The possibilities are endless!
Want to make a long-lasting impact on Hart Felt Ministries’ future? Consider planned giving. The planned giving process incorporates tax and financial planning strategies that allow the donor to efficiently achieve both their financial and philanthropic objectives. Examples include a gift of assets or real estate, life insurance, bequest, charitable trust, charitable gift annuity, and distributions from retirement plans.
