Our Mission:
To be a Christ-centered organization providing at no charge, through a network of community volunteers,
non-medical support services and companionship for the frail elderly who require assistance in living independently. Hart Felt
has been serving the Jacksonville community since 2004. For details on our organizational structure and history, click here.
Our Clients:
We serve elderly and disabled adults across the Jacksonville area who need non-medical help and companionship. All services
are provided at no-cost to the client. Chores ranging from light housekeeping to providing transportation to medical appointments
may be performed. Our goal is to assist our clients to continue living independently as long as possible. Learn about our
client services, and how to become a Hart Felt client.
Our Volunteers:
Hart Felt volunteers range from young adults to the elderly, and serve our clients with a diversity of skills and talents. Volunteers
are carefully screened and trained before being matched with individuals requesting assistance. If you have a desire to help those in
need within our community, we would love to have you join our team. Learn how you can get involved by becoming
a Hart Felt volunteer.
Faith In Action:
Our ministry continues to blossom! Wonderful stories and summaries are available in our quarterly newsletters.
You will see that God is working through his people to share his glory and grace, while we help and encourage our neighbors.
We Need Your Help!!!
Because we charge no fees for our services, we rely on contributions from congregations, civic organizations, individuals, and foundations,
along with grant funding. We depend on the support of the community to continue providing services needed throughout the First Coast area.
